Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. The producer was also and costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, at the end of her time, she made her first appearance as an actor (and Lighting Designer) in the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post was involved with a few game shows in addition to her acting profession. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two of her children in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School, where she was a cheerleader. She was a student at Pomona College for a short duration and was graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Personally, Post was earlier was married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband of 22 years since 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a great actress, ideal mother and wife, and also a role model for numerous Hollywood celebrities.
