Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She currently competes with the UFC Flyweight division. She is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champion as well as fellow UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sporting career by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko took the title and defeated Suzane Miller in the finals via the unanimous vote. Antonina then won a Silver Medal in 2007 and a Bronze Medal in 2008 and a Gold Medal in 2011 and as the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia launched her professional career at the age of 23 in 2003. She has taken home numerous awards, such as the K-1 World Championships the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in the final round of Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko set her first professional MMA record in 2002 at KFK's Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She won by TKO during the 2nd round and then won her 2 subsequent fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to focus on boxing. She made her return to fight Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa with a unanimous verdict and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She left in 2018 the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina made use of superior striking in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the clinch.
