Kelly Michelle Stables is a St. Louis Missouri native who was a part of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Theater and Communication. When she moved to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in the theater, acting and choreographing more than a dozen productions. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly started to get film and television roles as she studied improvisation in The Groundlings. Kelly's unique voice and small size have enabled her to portray a range of different characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her most well-known role is as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as an TV Land Series Regular from 2011-2015, playing a paralegal in the daytime, and as the nightclub host. Kelly was also a regular in the role of Alyssa's smart, sassy sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. Her fame is based on the soprano singing voice she has in numerous animated shows. This includes Doctor McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. The most recent time she was seen on NBC's cult comedy Superstore as the sluggish, but adorable Cloud 9 worker. Her private life is one that's quite quiet with two children who are younger than 5 years old. She is a lover of sewing as well as write, and she is an active participant at various school events.
